TRIBE’s Training Programs are approved for the SpouseWorks Scholarship (formerly MyCAA). Eligible military spouses can receive up to $4,000 toward a license, certification, or associate degree, and TRIBE’s YTT and workshops are built to prepare you to teach yoga and mindfulness to the community you already know.
Many of our teachers and graduates are military spouses. We are dedicated to supporting this population.
Who is eligible?
Spouses of active duty service members in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard, and spouses of National Guard and Reserve members on Title 10 orders. The scholarship is now open regardless of rank or pay grade. It was previously limited to junior ranks. You must have completed high school.
how it works
Create your account. Log in to SpouseWorks with your myAuth account to confirm eligibility.
Meet with a SpouseWorks career coach. Coaching is free. Call Military OneSource at 800-342-9647 or schedule through your account.
Contact TRIBE. Email info@tribeyogamilitary.org and we will send the information you need for your Education and Training Plan (ETP).
Submit your ETP. Your coach helps you complete it and submit it for approval. Approval can take up to 30 days. Please start early so your funding is in place before the start of your selected training.
Approve your funding when SpouseWorks notifies you, and you’re set to begin.
FAQs
What is SpouseWorks? In June 2026, the Department of Defense renamed MyCAA as SpouseWorks. The scholarship is the same benefit. Older websites may still use the MyCAA name or the old rank restrictions.
Will the scholarship cover all of my tuition? Eligible beneficiaries typically have $4000 available for us. This covers the cost of any course by TRIBE. Email us and we will help you work out your balance.
Which of TRIBE’s programs are covered by SpouseWorks? Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program and our workshop for yoga facilitator trainings are eligible for this scholarship.
Does TRIBE offer other financial help? Yes. TRIBE offers partial scholarships for active duty members and military families, funded by our donors.
Are Veterans and active duty members eligible? SpouseWorks is for spouses. If you’re an active duty member or veteran, email us about TRIBE scholarships and other funding.
